This photo was snapped at a celebrity-filled charity gala called “A Shakespeare Cabaret” during a “Free Shakespeare” Festival at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on August 19, 1973.

Alice performed “Gutter Cat vs. The Jets/Streetfight” (from the “School’s Out” album) that night. Jean Stapleton’s outfit is actually a “chorus girl” costume that she wore as part of the show.
