The Bluebell Girls light the candles on top of a giant cake 14 December 1971 in Paris during a ceremony for the opening of a gastronomic restaurant. Margaret Kelly, Irish-born founder of the famous Paris dance troupe the Bluebell Girls, has died at the age of 94, her family said 13 September 2004. Born in Dublin, Kelly was the original Miss Bluebell. After World War II her company of long-legged and scantily-clad girls became a fixture at the Lido music-hall, where they still perform today.
