‘When we were going to punk gigs every night, we thought that was the most important thing in the world, but outside of our circle of maybe 200 people, people were painting union flags on the sides of their houses,’ Cummins said last year. ‘They had no idea the Sex Pistols were playing a few hundred yards away’.
